In 2004, Lang completed her Honours in Visual Arts at QUT and was awarded the Queensland Art Gallery Hobday and Hingston Bursary. In 2005 her work was included in Fresh Cut and she was artist in residence at Metro Arts, Brisbane. She was artist in residence at KIAC in Dawson City, Canada and winner of the pictures category of the Qantas Spirit of Youth Awards in 2006. Lang recently took part in her first international exhibition “The Last Vestige” in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in July 2007.
